Ushuaia

Ushuaia is located in the archipelago Tierra del Fuego. It has over five thousand inhabitants and it is the most austral city in the world surrounded by mountains, rivers, channels in the confine of the planet. Over a hundred sailors have historically explored this water which represents a great challenge for every ship captain for its hard weather navigation conditions. Ushuaia lies on the edge of the famous Beagle Channel. From the city the trips to the Islas Malvinas and the Antartica leave, as well as several terrestrial and lacustrine excursions have their departure point there. The city is highly picturesque, besides it has a wide offer of hotels, restaurants, bars, teashops, shoppings… Ushuaia is also a port of free trade. Apart fro the shopping it is worth visiting the museum of the Fin del Mundo and explore some local canteens to taste the exquisite center Fish.
From Ushuaia you can also visit the beautiful National Park of Tierra del Fuego and Bay Lapataia and Fagnano Lake. Paradise places that keep trees species and generate flora and fauna unequal able because of their beauty and splendor.
For those who are more hazardous there is a visit to the Beagle Cannel and some islands by Catamaran (a sort of ship), a trip on a coach pulled by Siberian dogs on the snow and for the most adventurous visitors, flying over the channel to Cabo de Hornos or get on a luxurious ice breaker cruiser to Antartica.
The weather is cold all the year long but in summer it gets warm and dry (from September to April). The sky is usually clean and there is very good visibility, ideal for our visitors.

We would recommend stay minimum two nights to visit this wonderful city.
Ushuaia is generally visited with the Calafate because they are nearly places and have air connection. For his reason when you visit Argentina don’t forget that we are also waiting for you in Ushuaia… the end of the world!
