Bariloche

Bariloche is inserted to the Patagonia at the feet of our Abdes Mountains and by the cities San Martin de los Andes and Villa La Angostura, they form an exceptional mountaineer landscape wich can be enjoyed at any time of the year, with different characteritics according to the weather factor. All these cities offer one of the best touristic infrastructures in the country, ready to lodge thousand of visitors each year and offer them the most typical and beautiful that the region has: valleys, lakes,mountains, exquisite regional gastronomy and the incomparable kindness of its people.

The place is surrounded by fauna and flora reserves and National Park. In winter (from June to August) it gets ready to receive thousands os skiers in the centers of Catedral and Chapelo. Catedral is at 19 Km from Bariloche and its areas are between 1950 and 1014 meters, and a total length of over 70 Km and first level and international installation. In the very ski center you can get service of hotel, hodtelry, restaurants, instructors, hire and equipment repair, medical service, care of children. Chapelco is 15 Km away from San Martin de los Andes, with areas between 1978 and 1250 meters, it has a wonderfull sight for every skier, besides it has a highly prepared infraestructure for all the present requirements.

The region in spring, summer and autumn is good to go in kayak or canoe through the rivers, to see the strange arucarias forest and walk along the beautiful andean paths to find golden niggets in the streams or buy sweets and chocolates. To fish trout and hut deer and wild pig, to join the different Mapuches tribes who are still living in the region, to explore the lakes and see the mountains cover with torches going down at the ski party, or to see the snowed peaks turn red at sunset.
